Study in blue

During winter it is easy to catch the winter blues. The lack of light and cold makes us grow weary.

I needed some hope, some inspiration. So I went to chase some light above the ice of lake Ontario. 

I have always found the lake in winter magical, mesmerizing. The contrast of a fire-like sunset and brutal cold blocks of ice is enchanting. 

So here is a little bit of inspiration through winter time. 

Fine art photography is not for the sake of art. It is to escape the reality in search of hope and inspiration.
